Lumbar Radiculopathy

Lumbar radiculopathy is a condition in which nerve roots in the Lumbar spine (low back) are compressed by surrounding vertebrae. Cervical radiculopathy is an equivalent condition of the upper spine and is less common than lumbar radiculopathy. Compression can damage the nerves nearest to the spine, causing immense pain, worsens in certain positions or during certain movements.
